| Our client is a long established bank, which has produced consistent and significant growth in the region through innovation and strategic business development. Operating from their Head Office in Dubai the bank offers a full range of products and services to their customers.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of credit related matters for the UAE and Gulf region in order to ensure the quality and value of assets are increased in line with business objectives.
Key accountabilities for the role:
· To lead the development and achievement of the credit business plan in order to meet or exceed the agreed performance objectives;
· Facilitate business development efforts through a proactive approach to credit proposals to ensure maximizing of opportunities;
· Ensure safe to lend processes are followed in the loan administration area through close monitoring of customer limits and security;
· Create and develop a ‘Centre of Excellence’ by influencing, training, developing and raising standards, acting as a point of reference for the support team in order to ensure customer requirements are satisfied;
· Initiate and manage the introduction of changes to systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve operational improvement;
· Ensure compliance with the Bank’s procedures and guidelines together with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements where appropriate implementing actions to protect the Bank’s business at all times;
· Lead, motivate, develop and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business;
· Build a network of contacts, manage and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure a high level of service is achieved and the exchange of information is actively pursued.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver at senior level within a large professional organization. Educated to degree standard and ideally with an MBA, you will possess strong commercial awareness. Furthermore you will be a credible, influential and pragmatic people leader, who has the ability to inspire and drive your team to deliver service excellence. |

The individual must be proficient in maximizing revenues through partners and will ideally have demonstrable experience in direct sales and the capability of leading a “high touch” sales effort. The successful candidate will have experience in selling business solutions in one or more of the following closely related categories: PABX, Call center, CRM, Unified messaging solutions and software. As their business is expanding, they are looking for a Regional Retail Manager who will manage their business in the UAE and Oman. You will be responsible for over 20 stores and 80 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for young, dynamic and very hands on type of person.
This role will involve a great deal of man management. You will need to establish customer service standards and train all the staff to ensure consistent delivery. You will also have to assess the individual store performance and ensure it is over achieving its targets. You will need to observe the current processes and then develop and implement the solutions yourself. As marketing is considered a very sensitive issue in this business you need to develop very creative retail marketing programs. You have to be a jack-of-all-trades who can also master them. You need to be able to develop database-marketing campaigns that are focused for each store, to add real value.
This is a very challenging role in a very competitive and aggressive industry. You need to have at least 5 years experience as a Retail Manager and excellent sales analysis skills. This role will also involve shop re-design and liaising with agencies for branding artwork. You will have overall responsibility for the P&L of the retail business. You will also have to manage all new store openings and identify key locations for the future. Ideal candidates need to have experience in merchandising standards, direct marketing and retail customer service standards. Preference will be given to those who have worked with ERP systems. This is not a small role and needs someone who will rise to the challenge and set a new level of standards. You need to be passionate about what you do and have an entrepreneurial spirit. |
